AI Docs Assistant

The AI Docs Assistant is the Ask AI button in the docs header. It answers questions about Handsontable and HyperFormula, writes code examples, and links you to the relevant guide or API reference page.

I search the docs to answer questions about APIs, configuration, and usage. I say “I don’t know” when the docs don’t cover it.

The main search bar (Cmd + K) searches using keyword matches, but the Docs Assistant uses semantic search to match on concepts and related topics. Use the Docs Assistant when you want to chat about a topic or see code examples generated. Click the Ask AI button in the header to get started.

International Language Support

Ask your question in any language and the assistant will reply accordingly, while keeping API methods, function names, and other key terms in English to ensure valid code generation.

Current Page Context

Ask questions about the current page without copy/pasting the contents. The Docs Assistant knows what page you’re on, and you can even switch pages and continue the conversation.
